Maine South was able to take the win with key hitting from our highly-recruited junior outside hitter Sofia Rossi. We put up key blocks to help control Whitney’s strong outside hitters with our rightside blocks from Jenna Noth and Caroline Almquist. Libero Athena Tslapatanis was an unsung hero leading our team in digs and serve receive. A special performance was from our freshman, Safia Orecevic, who we converted to a setter and also played rightside and led the team in aces.”
