Providence coach Lee Rucinski: “It’s a lot of inexperience. We have only one person that saw a lot of varsity time last year. You can see there’s high level talent. We can hang with teams like Bennett and other teams. It’s just now getting the consistency down to hang with him for an entire 25. They stay together. You see other teams that’s the one thing I like that we saw. Obviously, we don’t want to lose how we did, but as we lost you didn’t see bickering they win and they lose as a team that’s one of the best things I can say about this team right now. Now it’s just learning about the heart and the ethic to continue playing at such a high level.”
Benet coach Brad Baker: “We played our 12th different lineup of the year. We have so many moving parts. We’re just trying to figure out … and at this point of the year, we literally have a bunch of different lineups we want to play. Seeing them in practice is one thing, we’ve got to see them in games and see what works and see what works with people in different spots. There are a lot of kids who are really good, we just got to figure out the right spots to put them in.”
