Chicago Christian coach Matthew Morales: “It was a tough way to end the season. We failed to capture momentum and pull away in sets two or three after having leads in both sets. We finished the year 6-7 in matches that went three sets. We had many competitive losses this season, and many in which we had double-digit leads and failed to close the door. Finishing sets all the way through has been a challenge for us all season, along with not allowing teams to come back on us as well. The future looks promising, however, with six of seven starters returning in 2024.”
