Girls volleyball

Libertyville def. Vernon Hills 25-19, 25-9
Vernon Hills (12-11 overall, 6-4 in the Central Suburban North).
Vernon Hills coach Chris Curry: “It was anything but a normal season, but we made it through the delay from fall, a COVID quarantine while we played four varsity matches with only a few varsity players, and only four weeks together with the full varsity and eight practices. Considering all that, we think it was a very successful season. Vernon Hills says ‘Goodbye’ to a group of seven seniors who were all out there at the end, playing the game they love with and in front of their friends. Hard to ask for much more than that.”
