Notes: Woodstock North ran its Kishwaukee River Conference winning streak to 16. The Thunder raced out to a 24-8 lead in the first set playing some of their best volleyball of the season before Johnsburg put on a 9-1 run to end the set. In the second set, it was back and forth early before the Thunder’s serve took over as the team matched its output from Tuesday with 12 aces. The Thunder return to action Monday on the road against Mundelein, followed by a home match against Lakes on Tuesday and a home match against conference rival Woodstock on Wednesday.
