Phil Brozynski began his sports writing career at the Daily Review Atlas in Monmouth, Ill., in 1978. He covered girls volleyball and basketball for the Chicago Sun-Times from 2002-2015, and football and boys basketball for The Daily Herald from 1983-1995. Phil was named the recipient of the Grant Berger Award for Web writing from the American Volleyball Coaches Association in 2010. MORE
