Vernon Hills coach Adrian Colton: “After a slow start in the first set, the Cougars rallied to defeat Maine East on the road.  The Cougars’ offense was fueled by the hitting of junior middle hitter Daniella Jarrell and freshman outside hitter Alexa Cieslisnki. Junior setter Abby Wisniewksi continues run an organized and efficient offense. The Cougars played some really solid defense led by freshman libero Elli Amjadi.”
