We knew we were walking into a challenging environment against a very good Genoa-Kingston team playing on its home floor. Our players were focused, confident and aggressive from the opening serve. To win a sectional championship is special, but to do it the way we did tonight says a lot about the growth and maturity of this group. Setting a new school record with 37 wins is an incredible accomplishment, but what excites me most is that this team isn’t satisfied. They’ve worked incredibly hard to put themselves in this position, and they’re excited about the opportunity ahead.”
