Vernon Hills coach Chris Curry: “We had much better intensity tonight than we did when we matched up against Prospect Friday night at the Niles West tournament. Sarthak Agrawal ran a great, balanced offense (five hitters each had 3-plus kills), and the defense was locked in all around (five players each having 5-7 digs each). That’s the style we need to play, with contributions from all over.”
