We did a great job going for every single ball, even our 6-foot girls were hitting the floor to make a save. It was phenomenal. I am sad that the four seniors are now done with Durand volleyball, because they were extremely dedicated and set a wonderful example of how to always stay positive. We will be working hard during this off season to prepare for next season. Crazy to think it’s only a few short months away.”

St. Charles North got us out of system a lot this match and it was tough to get our rhythm going on offense. Once again, we battled back after losing the first set and fought our way through the match. That was the story of this team this season and I could not be more proud of how they played against some really tough teams all season, including St. Charles North tonight. I am so grateful that we got to play this season, even if it was shorter than usual. This is such a great group of kids that played their hearts out every match and had so much fun.”

She’s come a long way as a blocker this year.”
