Illini West coach Dakota Flesner: “The Chargers were up 11-3 before letting North Fulton go on a 6-point run. North Fulton wasn’t able to get within 2 points of Illini West the entire first set. The Chargers started off slow in the second set with inconsistent passing and not being able to get our offense in system. At 16-16, Illini West was finally able to get some insurance points to cushion its lead for the remainder of the second set. Taylor Pence and Ali Bliss played stellar defense to pick up any hit North Fulton threw our way.”
