Batavia (14-10 overall, 2-2 in the DuKane Conference): Amanda Otten (6 kills, 4 aces, 6 assists), Claire Ellward (2 kills), Teagan Rokos (6 digs).
Batavia coach McKenna Kelsay: “We came out flat and were able to fight ourselves back into it, but Wheaton Warrenville South just overpowered us on their swing and we didn’t play super well as a whole. We struggled in most aspects of the game and were never really able to get it all together. Even with that being said, we worked really hard to get ourselves back into that second set and just found our fire a bit too late. We look forward to getting back out there on Thursday against Glenbard South.”
