Maine West (15-17 overall, 6-4 in the Central Suburban North).
Maine West coach Nora Feyerer: “We have a very young team with four freshmen and sophomores who start or play a lot, and the rest are juniors. We had no seniors this season. With my varsity assistant and I being new coaches for the program, there were a lot of changes and growing pains. The girls made a lot of progress this year on improving their volleyball skills and volleyball IQ, and also gained mental toughness. We learned how to compete and battle against some big teams and improved our consistency. We are really pleased with the progress we made this season and are excited about all the success we will have next year when we will start the year with better skills and more confidence.”
