Carmel coach David Pazeley: “Carmel controlled that match from start to finish.  Annie Bart led the offense again tonight with 10 kills, but everyone contributed as we racked up 26 kills as a team.  Mya Mainzer was everywhere at the net defensively earning 3 blocks but getting a lot more touches which slowed down Woodstock’s offense. The Mo-Jo combination was excellent defensively as they combined for 21 digs and Annie Bart added 8 of her own.  It was a complete performance from the Corsairs tonight and they earned their regional championship in convincing fashion. I’m very proud of how this team is playing together right now. Annie caught fire so we kept feeding her, but it was a complete team performance. All five of our hitters are a threat as they combined for 26 kills on the night, our serve receive passed at a 2.45, we racked up 43 digs, 7 blocks and 6 aces as a team.  We know we have a challenge ahead of us on Monday, but we look forward to the opportunity to keep this eight-game win streak alive.”
